Crowned by the volcanic peak of Teide, this natural desert takes on an ethereal quality as the setting sun glazes its ridges and rocks in soft pinks, reds and purples. You'll be taken to an altitude of 2,300 metres with photo stops along the way, to toast the sunset with a glass of Cava - a magical evening! At 3,718 metres high, Mount Teide is the highest mountain in Spain and one of the 411 volcanoes on the island. In 2007, UNESCO declared the Teide National Park a World Heritage Site for its special cultural, historical and scientific importance. The landscape here is truly amazing, impressive rock formations stand out against the impressive Teide. The environmental conditions are said to be very similar to those on Mars, which makes the National Park a perfect landscape for filming blockbuster movies. Watch the sun go down as you enjoy a complimentary glass of Cava to toast to a beautiful sunset over this incredible landscape.
